My name is Ashwini Moily and I am a foodie. I love cooking and tasting new cuisines. Trying out new cuisines has been my most favourite part, when I travel to new places. The name for the blog comes from Bakasur, is a demon from the Hindu epic Mahabharat. Bakasur is said to eat and sleep for the most part and that's what I love doing too. Hence, the female version Bakasuri ;).
I am a software professional during the day and an experiemental cook for the rest. I am an instinctive who does not follow recipes and measurements. I like to go with the flow. I have wanted to start this blog for the longest time now and have finally got around to doing it and I hope to develop it. This blog is dedicated to all my friends and the new cooks with whom I have shared my recipes over the years. I hope you have fun reading it as much as I have fun putting it together.
